COLLECTIONS

The Sun Peaks Historical Society aims to collect, preserve and/or make accessible a variety of archival materials including personal or corporate records, photographs, oral history recordings and transcripts, newspapers and other publications, and film. In addition, the society may acquire physical artifacts that are particularly resonant of the unique culture and history of Sun Peaks and the area.

The Society aims to provide digital access (via this website) of as much of its collections as possible. In some cases digital access may not be possible and only a summary/overview of the holding will be listed on the website. In this case you can request access via the Contact the Archivist form.

Finally, it will take time for the society to gather and process its collections. Archival or artifact items will be added here as they are processed. We ask users to visit the website frequently to see what new additions have been added!
