If you share our vision and an interest in local history and want to become involved, the Sun Peaks Historical Society invites you to become a member.
All members will be welcome at the Annual General Meeting, regular updates, special events and will receive our annual e-newsletter. In addition, any member can volunteer to help with the functioning of the Society and its programs, which may include such duties as:
Serving on the Board in an executive function
Assisting in digitalization or research for our projects
Assisting with oral history interviews (planning, interviewing, transcription, etc.)
Suggesting and participating in projects or topics of interest for inclusion in our programming
Members not already on the Board who have become operationally active over a period of time may be invited to join the board to become Voting Members and help shape the society’s future.
Membership cost is $20.00 per year (membership renewal is held annually in September).
